All I did this week was make cupcakes apparently. LOL.

mood: happy
music: The Highwayman
Wednesday.
Banana cupcakes with honey cinnamon frosting. The kids wouldn't wait for me to frost them properly.

Thursday.
Chocolate cupcakes with vanilla butter cream frosting.

Friday.
Vanilla cupcakes with Amaretto Buttercream frosting.

Today.
Vanilla cupcakes with dulce de leche filling and vanilla butter cream frosting. Today I also scraped a Madagascar vanilla bean into the frosting so it gave it a cool look. This recipe and a couple others started out from recipes from [info]curiouscupcakes but I made some changes.

We also did crafts a couple days this week....felt animals

and flower pot painting


We went to the pool....


Did some clothes shopping....



Did a bit of gardening.....

I should have taken a picture of the projector screen (Watched Amry Wives, Stop-Loss, The Notebook, Enchanted) and my laptop (Facebook, LJ, AIM) too then. LOL.

I cut it about a month ago? I am looking forward to it growing out an inch or two but it was so unhealthy from her yanking hair things out of it.

How was Stop-Loss? We were thinking of seeing it but unsure. Chris really doesn't like a lot of the military movies out there..he says they display the army in a negative way(he's mr. Hooah Hooah, LOL). I thought it looked neat though.

I thought it was ok but my Kris won't watch it either. For the same reasons my grandmother wouldn't watch "Pearl Harbor". If something is a reality for you it isn't entertaining.

It is a great pool. Kris thought we had gone to a waterpark.

I didn't realize 2 things about home grown peppers. One is that they are much much hotter than store bought and two that you have to wash your hands several times after handling them and before touching your eyes. Ouch.

Good to know! I just planted a jalapeno and a whole packet of serrano seeds. The only other peppers I was growing were sweet ones.

My jalapenos didn't grow at all and I can't figure out why. I will have a hundred chili peppers though!

Yum! The jalapeno I bought was already blooming when I planted it, so maybe I'll get lucky according to someone else's green thumb!

It really bothers me because I had plans for all of them. The chili peppers and roma tomatoes are for chili. The roma tomatoes will make spaghetti sauce. The jalapeno and heirloom tomatoes were for salsa....
I even bought a canner and everything.

They were good. I didn't make any today because I made pickles but I might make more tomorrow. :)

It is so nice out here in the new housing. I wonder if you guys move back to Bragg if they would put you out here.
